The 2025 China Free Forging Technology Conference was successfully held in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province from October 20th to 22nd. This conference was hosted by the China Forging Association, co-organized by the Wuxi Forging Association, Jiangyin Nan Gong Forging Co., Ltd. and ZHUOYUE Forging Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., and presided over by Mr. Zhao Deli, Vice President of China First Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. With the theme of “Precision, Intelligence, Green”, the conference attracted numerous technical experts from enterprises and universities.

Free forging, as the core process for metal shaping, is widely applied in strategic fields such as aerospace, shipbuilding, nuclear power, and high-end equipment manufacturing, serving as the cornerstone for supporting the domestic production of major national equipment. Currently, the free forging industry in China is accelerating its transformation from traditional processes to digitalization, intelligence, and greenification. The 16 reports at this conference closely focus on industry frontiers and strategic demands, concentrating on strategic fields such as hydropower units, aerospace, and nuclear power, deeply exploring the green upgrade paths of forging heating and heat treatment processes, introducing new energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies such as low-temperature flameless combustion, and systematically presenting the practical achievements of free forging workshop planning, complete equipment production lines construction, and ERP/MES digital systems. At the same time, around key issues such as specialized and innovative development, process optimization, and equipment upgrading, it provides technical support and path guidance for the high-quality development of the industry.

To establish an enterprise communication platform, this conference also held a small-scale exhibition of advanced technologies and products at the same time, providing enterprises with ample opportunities for face-to-face communication. The representatives had a lively exchange and were still full of enthusiasm, which provided an opportunity for future business negotiations and cooperation.

So far, through the combination of technical discussions and on-site verification, this conference has built an effective platform for sharing industry knowledge and exchanging experiences. The conference concluded successfully in a pragmatic and efficient atmosphere.
