The “2025 China Nonferrous Metal Forging Technology Summit Forum”, hosted by the Confederation of chinese Wetalforming Industry and co-organized by the National Key Laboratory of Materials Forming and Die & Mould Technology of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the Hubei Forging Association, concluded successfully in Wuhan from November 16th to 18th, 2025. Over 120 experts, industry leaders, technical elites and enterprise representatives from the national forging industry gathered on site to discuss the development strategies of the industry. The event was highly productive and had a profound impact.
The conference arranged 18 professional presentations. The participants engaged in an open and constructive exchange from various aspects such as production processes, technological innovation, and material upgrading. The atmosphere was lively and ideas constantly collided. This conference was a “brainstorming session” for the non-ferrous metal forging industry. The reports focused on the latest hotspots and trends of non-ferrous alloys like aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, and copper alloys, and were presented and shared with great enthusiasm. The quality of the reports received high praise from many participants.
On the afternoon of the 18th, the participants collectively took a bus to visit Wuhan Xiongchi Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Tieyan Automobile Parts Co., Ltd. During the visit, the innovative and application of copper alloy forging technology displayed by Wuhan Xiongchi Mechanical sparked great interest among the participants. The technical sharing on the precise forging of automotive parts by Wuhan Tieyan Automobile also left a deep impression on the participants.
Finally, the 2025 China Non-Ferrous Metal Forging Technology Summit concluded in a warm and practical atmosphere. We look forward to all the participants bringing the achievements of this conference back to their respective positions and jointly promoting China’s development from a “forging power” to a “forging strong country”.
