The 2025 Standard Work Conference of the China Pressing Association was successfully held in Hefei on August 20th-21st, 2025. The conference was attended by key enterprises and experts in the industry.

Currently, the global manufacturing competition landscape is undergoing a deep restructuring. The new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is accelerating. Intelligence, greenness, and high-endization have become the main themes of development. The pressing industry is facing urgent demands for improving efficiency, reducing costs and emissions, breaking through “key technology bottlenecks”, and moving towards the middle and high end of the value chain. At the same time, as the backbone of equipment manufacturing, the pressing technology not only concerns the core competitiveness of the industry but also is the core cornerstone supporting China’s journey towards a manufacturing power and a quality power.
The formulation, revision and promotion of pressing industry standards have become increasingly important. The association has continuously deepened the implementation of the “National Standardization Development Outline” and the “Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Foundry and Pressing Industry”, fulfilling the requirements of “strengthening standard leadership, focusing on building and improving a new pressing standard system, and promoting the coordinated development of national standards, industry standards, local standards, and group standards”. Since the establishment of the China Pressing Association Standard Working Committee in 2018, the association’s group standard work has been steadily advancing with the active support and participation of the majority of industry enterprises.
On the afternoon of the 20th, the attending leaders and representatives went to Anxuan Machinery Co., Ltd. in Anhui Province for a visit and learning activity. During the visit, the representatives listened carefully to the explanations, raised questions, and fully learned from its experience in digital factory construction, and conducted exchanges and learning on their own enterprise’s pain points.
The standard work conference was held on the morning of the 21st. Mr. Zhang Jin, the executive vice president and secretary-general of the China Pressing Association, delivered the opening speech. In his speech, Mr. Zhang emphasized that the establishment of group standards must be based on promoting industrial progress, promoting differentiated competition in the industry, must fill the gaps in national standards, the technical requirements must be higher than national standards. We should actively participate in standard construction, break free from ideological constraints, expand the types of standards. We should keep up with the times and update the outdated standards in the pressing industry. It is hoped that in the future, not only more standards will be generated, but also the existing standards will be promoted and implemented.
The standard work of the China Pressing Association has received active support and participation from the majority of industry enterprises, and a plaque award ceremony for leading enterprises of the group standards was held.
The director of the China Pressing Association Standard Committee, Sun Jiaojiao, presented the “2024-2025 Annual Standard Work Report”, summarizing the progress of standard work in 2024-2025, main achievements, important standardization activities, etc. It also presented the standard work plan and schedule for the next year. Currently, the association has officially initiated the formulation of 58 group standards and officially released 43 group standards.
At the end of the meeting, Chairman Han Mulin summarized the conference, and the committee will earnestly implement the opinions and suggestions of the experts, conduct in-depth study on the teaching content. It is hoped that this conference can be an opportunity to gather a wider consensus, making group standards truly become the core engine and important support for leading technological innovation, quality improvement, green development and enhancement of international competitiveness in the pressing industry, and jointly promote the group standardization work of the pressing industry to a new level.
